About Tahlia's Fundraising

I am a Yr10 student at Soham Village College and have the amazing opportunity to travel to Costa Rica in Summer 2027.

During the three week trip, I will be experiencing the incredible spectacle of the sea turtle breeding season, where they all come on land to have their young. I will be getting involved and helping in some capacity.

Whilst there we will be visiting a small community and will be taught how to make pottery using a 100 year old traditional method. We will be leaving our pottery for the community to sell.

We will also have the opportunity to journey along 2400 metres of zip wires, trek along some of the World's most beautiful coastline, hike to see 5 amazing waterfalls at La Paz, white water raft at the Pacuare Reserve, snorkel at the largest coral reef in Costa Rica and learn about the diverse wildlife and traditions this amazing country has to offer.

I am fundraising to be able to have this 'once in a lifetime' experience.

My fun, reversible bucket hats have been very popular with adults and children as they are one size fits most. I also have a wide range of baseball caps which are also popular as I keep the price as low as possible.

I also have a range of children's winter hats and gloves, Christmas socks, hats and gloves, pin badges and homemade earrings.

I can be found at many local events throughout the summer, and also some Christmas events.
